The Rt Hon Chris Philp is a UK Government Minister of State (Home Office) and the Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) for Croydon South, London. Previously served as a Minister of State (London), Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Ministry of Justice), Paymaster General and Minister for the Cabinet Office, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Home Office), and Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport). Founder of Next Big, a charity, which has given young people across London great opportunities, giving them mentoring from successful businessmen and helping them to create their own business plans. Has exceptionally worked hard serving the people of Croydon South constituency, and the country in general. Rt Hon Chris studied Physics and Theoretical Quantum Mechanics at University of Oxford
